Receives $10,000 Grant from

Dabo’s All in Team® Foundation

November 2014 – Feed a Hungry Child PC, Inc. was recently awarded a $10,000 grant from Dabo’s All in Team® Foundation, established by Dabo and Katherine Swinney to address critical health and educational issues in the community. The grant money will be used to help feed children in elementary and middle schools in Pickens County as part of the organization’s backpack program, which provides food for the weekend to children in need.

Blue Ridge Fest Feed a Hungry Child - Check

Blue Ridge Fest 2013 Donates $13,000 to Feed A Hungry Child

The Blue Ridge Electric Cooperative has announced that the 16th annual Blue Ridge Fest, which took place on May 10th raised a total of $183,000 to benefit local  non-profit organizations in Greenville, Anderson, Oconee and Pickens counties

Feed a Hungry Child Blue Ridge Electric Cooperative Inc. employees Tony Kelley,  Bryan Roper and David Collins are joined by Blue Ridge Fest sponsors Eloise  Hiott of Hiott Printing, (also representing Representative Davey Hiott), and  Richie Tallman of Bi-Lo of Pickens as they present $13,000 to Feed a Hungry  Child. Accepting on behalf of the charity is Mike Parrott, who serves as  treasurer of the board. This year, Blue Ridge Fest raised a record-breaking  total of $183,000.
